QUALITY ASSURANCE AND COMPLIANCE

The provision of safe and effective care is the top priority at LOD Care & Case Management.

To facilitate this, we have a number of quality assurance measures in place which include the following:

LOD QUALITY ASSURANCE AND COMPLIANCE STEERING GROUP

The Quality Assurance & Compliance [QAC] Steering Group meet approximately every 4-6 weeks to discuss, plan and implement key service improvement measures. 

This includes new and existing processes and procedures, streamlining existing tasks, improving the use of technology in our care provision, updating and implementing best practice in accordance with National Institute for Clinical Excellence [NICE] and other clinical and regulatory group updates as well as general leadership discussions.

The QAC Steering Group consists of specialists all of whom have extensive experience in compliance within the health and care industry:

  • The Registered Manager & Clinical Director
  • The Business Director
  • The Senior Policy Strategist, Administrative and Compliance Lead,
  • The Medicines Management Lead,
  • Three Associate Case Managers with considerable experience in compliance management.

FEEDBACK

We encourage feedback from all supported individuals and professionals who utilise our services. All feedback help us to improve our services and strengthen best practice. Feedback can be provided in a variety of ways including by email and verbally. All feedback received is logged and reviewed. We also send out short quarterly feedback surveys to supported individuals and professionals to gauge how our service is performing.

RECORD MANAGEMENT AND GOOD GOVERNANCE

Our clinical notes, time and cost recording are maintained on an industry-leading platform. This cloud-based software helps us to maintain accurate records, more responsive management and the highest standards of client care.
