TRAINING AND COMPETENCE

Regular training and appraisals are crucial to ensure a quality care provision.

Support workers receive a comprehensive induction and then regular supervisions with their team leader, Associate or Case Manager for the first 12 weeks of their employment. Thereafter, supervision sessions continue quarterly. Detailed appraisals are undertaken annually.

LOD are proud to provide all care and support workers with a solid foundation of training (either online or in person, dependent upon need).
